Family is a social system and it is considered as one of the important bases of the society. Recognition of influential factors in enhancing this social entity can be a great step toward promotion of the society’ s cultural level. In this study the contribution of three constructs of schema, attachment style and forgiveness in predicting the marital conflict were examined. The study was descriptive and correlational. The sample includes married teachers who were selected through cluster sampling in 1394. Data collection tools are initial schema questionnaires, attachment style scale, forgiveness questionnaire and marital conflict questionnaire. Data was analyzed by calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis. The results show that among the schemas, the disconnection/rejection schema (p=0. 01, β =0. 12), impaired autonomy and performance (p=0. 01، β =0. 34), impaired limits (p=0/01، β =0. 13), avoidant unsecure attachment style (p=0. 01، β =0. 11), anxious unsecure attachment style (p=0. 01، β =0. 31), secure attachment style (p=0. 01، β =-0. 37) and forgiveness (p=0. 01، β =-0. 63) predicted the marital conflict. The findings mean that higher schema and unsecure attachment style would increase the marital conflict, and higher forgiveness and secure attachment style would decrease the marital conflict.

This study was conducted predict marital burnout according conflict resolution styles and marital expectations in married women. The population of this study included all married women referred to counseling centers in Isfahan among whom. 209 married women referring to counseling centers in Isfahan city were selected using voluntary sampling method. The participated completed the marital Burnout Scale, conflict Resolution Styles and marital Expectations Questionnaires. The data were analyzed using multipleregression analysis method (stepwise method), and spss software. Results showed that integrated and compromise conflict resolution styles are negative predictors, and required conflict resolution style a positive prediction of marital Burnout, and marital expectations has not role of in marital burnout prediction. There of ores it can be concluded that have essential role conflict resolution styles about tomarital expectations on predictmarital burnout.

Abstract: This study sought to answer the question of what are the causes of marital infidelity in the Iranian family. To Answer the Research Question, Qualitative Meta-Synthesis (QMS) Method Were Used. Then, 78 Scientific Papers Which Were Considered marital Infidelity in Iran were identified and were Analyzed. The results showed that the factors of infidelity in Iran can be classified into 9 main categories, including: 1. Social factors, 2. Psychological factors, 3. Cultural factors, 4. Family factors, 5. Personal factors, 6. Relational factors, 7. Economic factors, 8. Media factors, 9. Contextual factors. Each of the main Categories is divided into Different Subcategories. The Social Factors of infidelity were including “Infidelity Opportunities”, “Friend groups” and “Environmental Conditions”. Psychological Factors of Infidelity Were Including “Personality Type”, “Attachment Styles”, and their “Love Schema”. Cultural Factors have Pointed to “Change in Beliefs and values” and “the level of Religious Education” of people. The Family Factors were including “Inappropriate Marriage”, “Family conflict” and “the Kind of Family Background of people”. The Personal Factors are “Sexual Dissatisfaction”, “Emotional Dissatisfaction”, “the Feeling of Loneliness”, “the Spouse Unavailability”, “Weakness in Controlling Spouse”, “Domestic Violence”, “Revenge of the Spouse” and “the Role of the Third Person in the Relationship”. The Economic factors are including “the Economic Status of the person”, “the Role of Economic Problems”, “the motivation of entering into infidelity under the Pretext of Job promotion”. The media Factors Were Emphasized on “weakening Iranian Values through Social Media Networks and Foreign Satellite Channels” and “Producing of New Needs by Media”. Finally, the Contextual Factors were including the Role of “Age” and “Gender” in the Infidelity. Findings showed that Infidelity Occurred in the group of men and youth in Iran, more than other Social Groups.

Objectives: This research was conducted to compare the reaction of married people to marital conflict among three generations of women and two generations of men.Method: The study was a qualitative research and the target population was all married people belonging to last three generations living in Tehran in 2014. Sampling was conducted in two stages using convenience and purposive methods. Data were collected through in-depth interview with a total of 45 people, with 9 people in each generation group (the first, second and third generation of women and the second and third generation of men). The interviews with women were conducted at their residences and with men were done over the telephone. The collected data were coded using content analysis method. Results: In this research, information was gathered through interviews with 9 daughters, 9 mothers and 9 grandmothers with an average (±SD) age of 27±2.5, 49±4.7 and 71±6.1, respectively. Also, interviews were conducted with 9 sons and 9 fathers with an average (±SD) age of 28±1.2 and 45±6.3, respectively. Data analysis showed that conflict avoidance in the second generation was more than the third generation. Compared with the women, men reported less conflict avoidance in bringing up the conflicting issues.Conclusion: It seems that some factors such as people’s age differences, life cycle and differences in standards influence their behavior during marital conflict.
